A woman died after she was shot several times by a riding-in-tandem in Port Area, Manila on Thursday afternoon, August 16.
Police identified the victim as Faura Ramos, 51 years old.
She was gunned down while attending to her notarial business along Delgado Street near the Bureau of Customs building.
Initial investigation by the Manila Police District Station said Ramos was just sitting on a chair when two men aboard a motorcycle approached and shot her at close range several times before fleeing the scene.
Ramos died on the spot from gunshot wounds. The incident happened past 1:00 pm, as per police report.
Authorities remain clueless as to the motive of the crime. Ramos is known only for her notarial business, according to her kin.
The case is still under investigation by the police.
