According to Pulse Asia, the survey was conducted in the heat of several issues such as the ouster of Maria Lourdes Sereno as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the conflicting statements of President Duterte and Foreign Affairs Secretary on the issue of the West Philippine Sea, the killing of Father Richmond Nilo in Nueva Ecija and the arrest of more than 7,000 ‘tambays’ or loiterers, among others.
